This year’s headliner, Lunar Vacation, is an Atlanta-based indie rock project. The band holds a special place in the hearts of WREK members and listeners, as they played the station’s very own Live @ WREK back in 2018 (check it out!) Four piece alt-gaze rock band based out of Atlanta Georgia. Formed by three lads sharing a housing space, and a part of various other bands, they decided it was time to fulfill their dreams of joining the hype, use their previous experience and become a shoegaze band. Cole O`neil (Drums) Duncan Ward (Guitar/vocals) and Jack James Butler (Bass) spent the better part of a year to craft nasty sounding riffs intertwined with beautiful conclusions sitting just above haunting vocals.
