The Jeff Evans Porkestra is a roots-rock/Americana band based in Atlanta, Georgia. The band has released two EPs worth of Evans’ songs, featuring his charmingly allegorical lyrics and his ragged-but-right guitar chops, backed by some of Atlanta’s best musicians.

Where 2024’s Willow Pillow EP chronicled Evans’ new-found romance and its joyous upheaval of daily routines, 2025’s When Pigs Dance featured a glorious romp through his back catalog, culling drastically re-arranged favorites from 9 albums recorded with his original band Chickens and Pigs.

Evans, a long-time fixture on Atlanta’s alt-country music scene, has shared bills with fellow cosmic travelers such as Eric Lindell, Michelle Malone, Delta Moon, Southern Culture on the Skids, and the late great Dex Romweber of the Flat Duo Jets.
