Lahar

Indie Pop

Lahar is an independent indie pop artist born in Atlanta, raised in Bangalore, and now back where he started. A songwriter & producer releasing through his own label Curry Kid Records since 2020, he's amassed 18M+ streams and reached 9.3M listeners in 2025, led by the multi-million-streaming "do u think about me?” — all independently, without a label or team behind him.

What started as songs made between overnight newsroom shifts grew into a catalog that found listeners across the world, from Atlanta to London to Jakarta. Singles like "Bad at Getting Over It" and "do u think about me?" connected quietly and kept growing, with the latter soundtracking Korean dating show Heart Signal in 2023. Influenced by The 1975 and LANY but shaped by something more personal: the distance between two places he calls home.

Lahar works closely with a tight creative circle: Aaron Pace as chief collaborator, Crash as both musical collaborator (Conversations Over Breakfast EP) and creative director, and his wife Michelle behind the lens for nearly all of his visual artwork.

His debut album arrives in 2026.
